About Us
The owners of The Sapphire Emporium and Greenish Acres, Michelle and Alyssa, have teamed up to become Two Flippin' Friends!
After meeting at a co-op where they were both vendors, the road has led them to their own warehouse/studio, where they refinish furniture, resell cool treasures online and offer you consignment options.

Michelle Walker
Hello to all! My name is Michelle and I’m the proud artist and owner of The Sapphire Emporium and partner with Alyssa at Two Flippin’ Friends. Our shops are places for unusual and hand-crafted pieces that can enhance your home and personal collections.

I recently retired from the teaching profession and am now blessed to be able to follow other passions, namely, creating décor, travel, and hunting for unique and interesting items. I enjoy traveling to out-of-the-way locations and sourcing existing items as much as I enjoy creating my own.
With a passion to save our beautiful country for future generations, not only do we save items from the landfill, we try to use recycled and reclaimed materials whenever possible in our hand-crafted pieces. We look forward to offering you interesting merchandise that we hope you’ll love as much to own as we enjoyed finding.

Alyssa Hedges
I started Greenish Acres in 2021, with the idea of selling handmade goods and vintage items in a roadside stand. After losing the relationship and home that was the base for my business, I moved to vendor co-ops, where I met Michelle!​ We moved into our current space in August 2024 and it's been a whirlwind since!​

My favorite pieces to "rescue" are handmade needlework and unique pottery and ceramic pieces. Of course, I like anything kitschy and weird!

When I'm not working at Two Flippin' Friends, I'm likely spending time with my fur-babies or watching someone else's.
Ava & Otto
Ava and Otto are Alyssa's fur-babies and the studio pups! Otto is a 10 year old hairless puggle and Ava is a 4 year old Chi-Pin. They're often with us, in-studio, greeting customers!
