About the event

Students will explore the art of momigami—a traditional Japanese paper technique that transforms ordinary paper into soft, leather-like material through crumpling, kneading, and conditioning. Learn how to strengthen and texture paper using simple materials like lotions and oils, creating durable, flexible sheets perfect for mixed media projects. Momigami papers can be used to create unique journals, tags, and decorative elements. Perfect for all skill levels, this class invites you to slow down, get hands-on, and discover the beauty of texture and transformation.  All materials will be provided. Images are examples only, actual project may differ.

Our complimentary coffee bar is always open! Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa while you're crafting.
